Pie Ranch welcomes you!
You can visit Pie Ranch on work weekends and enjoy learning about farm life and learning new skills while working in community. To date, we have involved our growing community of friends in building a chicken coop and goat shed, planting seeds, vines, and trees. We've also worked with visitors in managing the pond, clearing non-native invasive plants and using on-site materials to repair erosion in a riparian corridor. Work days always involve eating together and celebrating our accomplishments (with pie, of course). In 2006, we anticipate more community days dedicated to planting, building, weeding, pond and land stewardship, as well as the restoration of the Steele Ranch.
